I was just rewinding about those teenage days, where there were no emails and no chats and how tough it was to have few friends through penpals. The curiosity and excitements it brought when the few first snail mails of the big bundle of mails to be followed soon.
How polite and reactive was the external departments, How wonderfull was to recive an airmail from different parts of the world. The aroma of the cover and even the materials they used in covers.
Even those days how tough was to get updates about the European football, the Indian Express were looking too shabby with low quality newsprint available those days. In the Sunday pages Talveen Singh looked so young when I see her in Times now or Cnn IBN these days.
When I looked around the roaring business of Laterite natural stone business used to be carried out with all American mini trucks from FORD ,DODGE, BEDFORD or FARGO.The monster like face with red grills and popped out headlights. The amazing antique looks has vanished from the roads.
Changes are inevitable but what exactly it makes or serves the human life. Is it just comfort or beyond those? When I think of chatting with my friend in USA at a single IM, I feel it really has brought more meaning to life. So changes are and should be part of our life.
