A Sunday Morning

12 May

Unexpected summer rain is becoming a routine habit of the so called climate change. But it has brought down the temperature. Last night was really fabulous to sleep. The symphony of rain drops falling on the leaves is a fantasy. It brought some incomparable joy which can’t get even if you listen to A.R.Rahman.
The next morning looked like as if  the new world is beginning. The ground looked wet, leaves looked bright green and as if washed with some detergent..I mean so green!! The sunlight was like sparkling, though very cool morning it was.
The bamboo bush was twisted and turned by the wind and they will take some time to get back to their shape. They are all entangled. The hibiscus bud is decorated with droplets still shying away from falling to the ground…may be still carrying the nostalgia of last night rain.
Wow..the air I breathe is too cool, the birds sang more rhythmically..it shows they too feel good about the rain. Far away near to the gate the Chinese Palm carries many bunches of berries and few Kuil( Koel) birds has occupied it.I wonder how these birds explore the trees in their vicinity. There were dotted as well as Black Kuils. Occasionally making some whistles.. As we all know  they are called the great singers of the entire bird community.
Then came the humming birds..gliding in the air to grab each hibiscus flower and steal their nectar. They were very swift. It is really fabulous to do the bird watching .

Am I watching Animal Planet..no it’s exactly my last Sunday morning was like…may be we all see such but not sure you all enjoy these small and beautiful glimpses of nature.
